Coffee Hour @ Chicklit Power – The Bachelorette (1 & 2)

Welcome to Coffee Hour @ Chicklit Power. I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday! Hey, grab your coffee or whatever you’re having and let’s go chat about the Bachelorette show.

I can’t believe we’ve just seen the second show of the brand new season. I’m trying to juggle a few things and it just snuck up on me. I would have posted yesterday, (Tuesday) about the show, but I really wanted to get back to the “Balance? What’s that?” series. I hope you enjoyed that series as much as I did writing it. And, please, feel free to share it with a friend. Anyway, I should be able to get back on track with blogging about the Bachelorette’s third show on Tuesday, the night after it airs. Thank you so much for your patience.

So now let’s talk girl talk. Okay. I need to get something off my mind because it’s about to burst. I’m sooooooo glad she got rid of that – I can’t even find an adjective that fits – oh yeah, that creepy guy Craig M. I truly did breathe a sigh of relief when she did not give him a rose. In fact, here’s what Ali says in her own blog about him: “Jonathan warned me about Craig M., but honestly, I already knew something was up with him. I was thankful that Jonathan had my back and let me know about it; otherwise, I would have just been speculating.” So I give her kudos for that. I’ll tell you, she seemed more relaxed last night than she did on the first night and she’s definitely a pretty girl.

Ali- The Bachelorette

As far as who else has to go that hasn’t yet….. Drum role……. Bye-bye Jonathan! And I thought weathermen were intelligent and good conversationalists! I mean, I understand the guy was nervous, but he’s on T.V. all the time for goodness sake.

Now, her best first date ever, hmmmm. She says in her own blog that it was the most fun she’s ever had on a first date in her entire life. She did look like she was having fun and every now and then, I would catch a glimpse of her head coming out of the clouds, but actually, I thought this was one of the more down-to-earth dates I’ve seen on the show. I mean, it wasn’t really over the top, well maybe on the top, you know, of the hill with the “HOLLYWOOD” sign on it, and doing something seemingly “forbidden” seems to always be fun, but it was more real and achievable than most of the dates they put these people on. It’s kind of funny, because the first time I saw Frank and heard a bit about him, I knew they would click, but I didn’t think they would spark. So that was a surprise to me.

But she also seemed to spark for Rated R! I don’t have a good gut feeling about him, so we’ll see how that plays out. And then sparks definitely flew when she first met Roberto and when they got some one-on-one time the first week. So I’ll go out on a limb at this point and say it will be Frank and Roberto in the end, but I get three chances, so that’s number one…

Let me know your thoughts and come back tomorrow for “A cup of the 3-D’s, Please!”

Blessings

Evinda

Oh, It’s Roberto all the way, come on, she loves baseball, he played for the Rockies, he’s handsome, and his manners will win in the end….he’s a very sweet person and honest….and who would not want to be married to a man who’s Mom probably is one of the best cooks on the planet…not to mention how beautiful their children would be!

This show is so not real, but I love to watch it….if only we could all have had one of those amazing dates….well at least for me….

Well, I do have a better feeling about Ali than I did after the first show. She did seem a lot less nervous and more mature than night one. I really think she would have gotten rid of Jonathan if he hadn’t warned her about Craig M.

I know she is physically attracted to Roberto, but was surprised he didn’t at least get on the group date. He is so cute and would have looked good on that calendar. Not sure if he is her type, maybe too perfect. Too soon for me to tell.

I’m with Gay, I love to watch the show for the pure entertainment of it all. Can’t wait to see what happens next week.
