Cleaning Tip Tuesday-From Coffee Hour @ Chicklit Power

Coffee Hour!

Thanks so much for stopping by our Cleaning Tip Tuesday Coffee Hour! Grab your coffee and come on in. 😉

So my self-adopted mom brought me a little book called “Who Knew? Formulas and Solutions for a Naturally Clean Home,” and let me tell you there are some real tried-and-true cleaning diamonds in here. Today I’m going to share a cleaning tip from this little book that is for kitchen surface stains.

Do you have any hard-to-beat and/or stubborn stains on your stovetop, your countertops, any kitchen surface stains? Well, this is a pretty simple trick and I have to tell you the key ingredient is used for just about all their cleaning tips – meaning the authors of this little handy-dandy book. So here’s what it says to do: Take a damp sponge and shake some baking soda on it and don’t be stingy but be somewhat generous – after all, it’s pretty inexpensive! 🙂 Then wipe the surface as you normally would. The trick is that the abrasive powder in the baking soda is what helps to break down the stain. If the stain persists, then make a paste out of the baking soda and a bit of water, let it sit on the stain for a few minutes and try again!

So all these cleaning tips are to get you in the “Spring Cleaning From the Inside Out” mood, coming soon! Here’s the scoop!

Next Tuesday will be our final cleaning tip before our Spring Cleaning from the inside out workshop! Tickets are now on sale! Contact a CPM representative via or order your tickets on line at

Oh, and one other thing, please email me your cleaning tip so we can share it!
