Cleaning Tip Tuesdays From Coffee Hour @ Chicklit Power

Coffee Hour!

Thanks for joining me for our cleaning tip Tuesday! Roll up those sleeves, grab your coffee and let’s share another cleaning tip in preparation for our Spring Cleaning from the Inside Out event coming June 30th! 🙂

Before we share another cleaning tip, I’ve got to tell you, our last one about the apple, OMG, I just remembered I needed to check it so I could let you know whether it worked or not, and it did! The smell is almost completely gone! The apple looks a little worse for wear, but, hey, my hutch is almost odor free, and I bet my mom is smiling in heaven thanking me for removing that trace of her! 🙂

One of the hardest things to clean is those hard water spots, for example, inside the toilet, around the faucets, in the bathtub, on the shower door and faucet; you know what I’m talking about? Well, let’s try this and see if it works: Take a sponge soaked with lemon juice and gently scrub hard-water area, making sure the entire spot gets more than just a good taste of that lemon juice! The acid in the lemon helps lift that hard water residue! Then rinse off and dry and Voila!!

Now, here’s the scoop for our upcoming event that will have all kinds of cleaning tips from the inside out . . .

Tickets are now on sale! Contact a CPM representative via nomorebaggage@chicklitpower.com or order your tickets on line at www.chicklitpower.com/gift-store

Oh, and one other thing, please email me your cleaning tip so we can share it!

Sparkling,

Evinda

Do you think those little plastic lemon juice bottles would work too, or do you need to use fresh squeezed lemon juice?

I have a “Jewel” of a tip for those in between professional carpet cleaning spots (canine accidents), etc.
My Mom “Jewel”, always mixed about 1/8 cup of powdered Tide with 1/2 cup vinegar in a bucket of hot water and scrubbed her carpets to brighten them up. Works like a charm, because she was such a jewel 🙂
