Rainy Days

I used to not like rainy days. I don’t know if it’s because I’m older now, or have more peace in my life or maybe it’s just a combination of both, but rainy days don’t get me down. Instead they inspire me to slow down and enjoy doing some things I’ve been putting off. Rainy days are invitations to sit and do what we love to do, freeing us from what we think we have to do. So accept the next invitation to refresh yourself. Enjoy the day!

    Evinda,

I totally agree! That recent week of “monsoons” we had in SoCal was great when I got to stay home and do what I wanted. But I could have done without the necessary errands, including filling my gas tank when it was raining so hard, I had to shield my tank with my body to keep out the torrents! On days like that, there really is, like Dorothy says, no place like home!

Wishing you just enough rain to make you appreciate the sun & vice versa. Love ya, Sis!
